William & Mary’s Online Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program is designed to maximize your computing and modeling skills while honing your ability to apply data science to strategic business planning and business decision-making. Get the technical education to leverage and understand the data that drives your business.

• Complete in as few as 16 months*
• 2 prerequisites
• 8 core courses (32 credits)**
• 100% online; no on-campus requirement
• No GRE/GMAT required
• 3 starts per year: August, January and May

*Students who are required to complete the prerequisite courses can graduate in as few as 18 months.

**At the discretion of the university, candidates can be granted a waiver for the four prerequisites based on successful completion of prior coursework.

The Online MSBA program has been built from a core program theme of business intelligence and analytics specifically to provide you with an unmatched competitive advantage in your career. With this in mind, the curriculum is designed to:

• Teach coding in the prerequisite courses through practical business applications, especially with R and Python 
• Build data visualization skills early in the program to be applied and fine-tuned in later courses
• Explore artificial intelligence (AI) applications in business, including implementations of contemporary AI techniques, such as deep learning and natural language processing
• Impart a deep understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics 
• Emphasize data warehousing, above and beyond database management
